Elena Echeverry
Originally from New Jersey and raised in Puerto Rico- Elena, along with her sister, Lissette moved to Texas in 1991. Initially it was a culture shock. However, ended up falling in love with The Lone Star State.
It was here she met her now husband Justin Martin who currently is a very successful Realtor and Market Manager for a nationwide Brokerage. He is also an Air Force veteran to which is why they hold military folks close to their hearts, them being a military family also. Together, they’re raising two handsome boys, Justin and Israel and one adult daughter, Valerie.
Elena initially began her twenty-five plus year career in hairdressing giving ten of those years to a worldwide recognized hairdressing company where she became an Artistic Chemical Director and educator. Working with high profile clients and traveling the Americas from Canada down to Central and Northern South America as well as the Caribbean Islands performing platform work, workshops and hands on classes teaching the latest hairdressing collections for the company.
Education has always been one of Elena’s passions which is why becoming a Realtor was the perfect career change for her. With her almost 10 years experience now in Real Estate, She truly enjoys being of service to her clients and educating them about the home-buying or selling process as well as home staging. She also enjoys teaching mostly webinars and workshops to first time home buyers and sellers as well as teaching current homeowners about property tax protests and many more topics!
Attention to detail is one of Elena’s obsessive characteristics, in part due to her hairdressing career which helps bring qualities to the table with real estate that allows her to exceed clients expectations when choosing her as their Realtor. They can trust that she’s always in control but also a team player with agents on the other side of each transaction. Making each transaction as smooth as possible and always with her fiduciary duty to her clients first in mind and heart.
She owes her success-driven mentality to her family and mentors who have always encouraged her to keep reaching for her goals and hold them close. Her mindset is one of her biggest assets as she’s always ready to welcome a good challenge. Consistently optimistic and with an open mind paired with determination to conquer anything she puts her mind and heart to, which make her an incredible Realtor and Entrepreneur.
When not with her clients whether real estate or the few hairdressing client’s she kept that won’t let her quit their hair, you’ll find her enjoying time with her family and two doggos. She enjoys cooking, drawing, gardening, decorating or remodeling their home and bringing old furniture back to life!
